So you want your own social stickers aye? I must admit the sticker icon idea wasn’t mine, I saw it here and was totally happy to use theirs but they didn’t have a Last.fm or a Posterous sticker and they didn’t provide me with the flexibility to modify and create my own So what I did was I fired up Illustrator created the framework and brought it all into Photoshop. I decided to continue the styling in Photoshop at 512×512 because they are intended for web use. I worked with smart objects as a posed to rastered simply so that I could easily extend the family. You can create your own and simply save for web into whatever format you like.
I need to also add a disclaimer that I created some of the logo’s myself so if they are incorrect or if you represent that company please provide me with the vectors for your logo. I would like to replace them with the official vector version provided by said companies so if you find them please update me with it so that I can update the file.
The future of these stickers will be more than just your social range but also your interests perhaps, and products you like and or use, so get creative I will add more as I require them.
I licensed this work under a creative commons license of attribution, share alike and commercial use, essentially all I want in return for the use of these social stickers is that if you make changes please update me so that it can be included in the download – you will be then also included in the license of course.
You can download the starter file which takes you from scratch or you can download the individual ones, each file comes with a psd file and 9 png files. The psd file is in the 512 format and the png files start at 32 and scale up to 512.
Here are all the stickers I have created so far, I mostly just created ones that I need. However you need a particular sticker just let me know I will put it together for you.
